Ownership

Radar.Taxi is a free service created to help users locate and contact taxi drivers as well as help taxi drivers receive ride requests.

shows taxi drivers on the map and allows users to define the pick-up point and final destination location. With this data we deliver the route, the distance in km, the duration of the trip and the estimated cost in accordance with local regulations.


USERS

Data Collections and Uses.

RadarTaxi collects the data provided by users at the time of requesting the trip, which is the name and telephone number. We do not verify the data, nor do we create a user account. This data is stored on the site for the duration of the trip and in the trip summary in the driver statistics.

The Driver can call the user to verify their phone number.

Radar.Taxi is based on the GPS location of the user's device, or that which the user provides, and will automatically locate the location

Radar.Taxi also provides the user with the possibility of rating the quality of the taxi service received.

Radar.Taxi does not collect data from the user's device.

Users can request rides using the site on a desktop, laptop or tablet.

COSTS FOR THE USER

Radar.Taxi is completely free for the user. But the user may incur costs derived from their internet connection, and the data traffic necessary for downloading and using the site, as well as, (in the event that automatic assignment of the service is not possible), possible calls. telephone calls to the taxi driver.


Radar.Taxi does not charge the end user for its services nor does it charge commission to taxi drivers. Payment for the trip is made directly between the user and the driver.


Radar.Taxi calculates the cost of the trip using an algorithm similar to that used by taximeters. The calculation may vary depending on days of the week, time, congestion, etc. In any case, the cost that appears obligates the passenger and the taxi driver.

Any other possible supplements that may exist are not included in the calculation. We advise coordinating these costs before starting the trip.


The user expressly authorizes the communication of his username, telephone number and geographical location to the taxi driver and/or taxi company that provides the taxi service.


DRIVERS

Drivers: persons who provide transportation to Passengers individually or through associated transportation companies.

For correct operation RadarTaxi collects data from drivers who are verified to be approved to participate in the services.


This notice also governs Radar Taxi's other data collections in connection with its services. For example, we may collect contact information or data from drivers who begin but do not complete their driver applications.


Our privacy practices are subject to the laws applicable in the places where we operate. This means that we engage in the practices described in this notice in a particular country or region only if permitted by the laws of those places.

RadarTaxi is the controller of data collected in connection with the use of RadarTaxi services everywhere.

III. Data Collections and Uses.

RadarTaxi collects data:

1. Provided by users to RadarTaxi, such as during account creation.

2. Data provided by drivers. This includes: your name, email, phone number, address, profile photo, banking or payment information (including related payment verification information), driver's license, and other government-issued documents (which may include numbers identification, as well as date of birth, sex and photograph). Demographic Data: We may collect demographic data about users, such as gender or occupation, when necessary for certain RadarTaxi services or programs, such as security features that allow users to set a preference to provide or receive services to/from other women ( “Preference for female drivers”).


3. Data created during the use of our services. This includes:

Location data (driver and delivery person): We collect precise or approximate location data from drivers' mobile devices when the RadarTaxi app is running in the foreground (app open and on screen) or in the background (app open but not on) .

Location data. We collect precise or approximate location information from passengers' and order recipients' mobile devices if they allow us to do so through their device settings.


RadarTaxi collects such data from the moment a ride or order is requested until it is completed, and each time the application is running in the foreground (application open and on screen).


Riders and order recipients can use RadarTaxi applications without allowing the collection of location data from their mobile devices. However, this may affect certain functions of the RadarTaxi applications. For example, a passenger who has not enabled precise location data will have to manually enter their pickup address.


Transaction Information: We collect transaction information related to the use of our services, including the type of services requested or provided; trip or order details (such as date and time, requested pickup and drop-off addresses, distance traveled, and items ordered); and payment transaction information, the amount charged and the payment method). We also associate a user's name with anyone who uses their promotion code.

Communications Data: We collect data about telephone, text or in-app communications between users enabled through the RadarTaxi applications. This includes the date and time, as well as the content of text messages or within the app. We may also collect the content of phone calls only when users are notified in advance that the call may be recorded.

Display RadarTaxi advertising on third-party applications or websites. This includes using location, trip and order history, device data and usage data, and sharing encrypted email addresses and device or user identifiers with advertising partners (such as Facebook and TikTok), to personalize such ads according to the user interests.

Display third-party advertising in RadarTaxi applications or in connection with our services.

The Settings > Privacy menu in the RadarTaxi app allows riders and order recipients to set or update their preferences regarding location data collection and sharing, emergency data sharing, and notifications. Our Privacy Center is also available in a web version.


Location data collection (passengers and order recipients)


Riders can enable/disable RadarTaxi to share their real-time location data from their mobile devices with their drivers through their device settings, accessible via the Settings > Privacy > Location menu.


Emergency data exchange

Riders can allow RadarTaxi to share real-time location data from their mobile devices with police, fire and ambulance emergency services. Such data may include the approximate location at the time the emergency call was made; the make, model, color and license plate information of the car; the name and telephone number of the passenger; pickup and drop-off locations; and the driver's name.



We may update this notice from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users in advance of the changes through the RadarTaxi applications or by other means, such as email. Use of our services after an update constitutes consent to the updated notice to the extent permitted by law.


DISCLAIMER

Radar.Taxi generates taxi service reservations, but does not directly provide the transportation service itself. Therefore, Radar.Taxi and Phone2Web are explicitly exonerated from any liability arising from the interaction between the user and the taxi driver or radio taxi company providing the taxi service. By way of example but not limitation, Radar.Taxi and Phone2Web are exonerated from claims for:

  • Failure of the taxi driver to pick up the user.
  • Delay in picking up the user, whatever its causes may be.
  • Poor service provision by the taxi driver, due to inappropriate conduct, disrespectful behavior, drunkenness, or any other.
  • Verbal or physical aggression by the taxi driver to the user and/or vice versa.
